Introduction to Programming in Visual Basic
Designed for those who have little or no programming experience, the class uses Word and Excel to teach programming concepts and techniques, including variables and constants, decision making, flow of control loops, subroutines and functions, and objects, methods, and properties. The class can be taught in several versions, with lab exercises and out of class assignments, as necessary.
Introduction to Programming in Excel
Designed for those with programming experience equivalent to our Introduction to Programming class. The class uses the Excel library to teach common tasks such as reading and inserting data into cells, formatting and processing data, creating and using Excel forms, creating user-defined functions, and distributing macro applications. The class stresses good programming practices and provides many tips specific to Excel and the Excel Object Model.
Introduction to Programming in Word
Designed for those with programming experience equivalent to our Introduction to Programming class. The class uses the Word library to cover common tasks in Word, including formatting, editing, and merging data, automating lists, and more. The class also covers using The class covers the Word Object Model and offers many Word programming tips.
Introduction to Programming in Access
Designed for those with programming experience equivalent to our Introduction to Programming class as well as experience in using Access to create relational databases. The class covers Access objects, ActiveX data objects, record sets, properties and methods collections, and event handling. Access forms are also covered.
Custom and Advanced Programming classes.
